Investigation of Electromagnetic Scattering from Two Kinds of Numerical Breaking Wave Models

In this article, the electromagnetic (EM) scattering from two different kinds of numerical breaking wave models (the LONGTANK breaking wave model and the breaking wave model generated by FLUENT) are analyzed. With the method of moments (MoM), the backscattering and bistatic scattering coefficients of the two breaking wave models are calculated. The scattering results indicate the two kinds of breaking wave model can both indicate super scattering events. The LONGTANK breaking wave model is similarly to be a target model, while the breaking wave generated by FLUENT is more likely to be a wave model.
