Using Petri Nets to Verify Design Model: A Survey

Petri nets are a powerful tool for graphical representation and analyzing software processes, so it was used in early stages of the software development process. Formal verification is a method for proving the correctness of system specification when they are described in a mathematically rigorous framework. The behavior of the system must be modeled accurately for verification purposes. The aim of this paper is to prove that software development processes modeled with the application of Petri nets can be easily modeled processes before implementation to satisfy the customer needs. To increase the reliability and quality of the system, the specification processes is formally verified design model.
