Ubiquitous Healthcare System Based on the Sensors Network and Android Internet of Things Gateway

The Internet of Things (IoT), is a concept and a model that includes a variety of things or objects that can interact with one another through wireless connections, cable, and unique addressing schemes, and can work with others things or objects to create new services and applications to achieve common goals, especially in the biomedical field. This article proposes an m-IoT system for remote monitoring of medical signals. Medical data can be acquired at the patient's home; data are retrieved by an application on the smartphone and after an initial processing, data are transmitted to a cloud server. The family physician or hospital doctors can consult the data on this cloud server to track the patient's evolution over time.
