A Possibility to Monitoring and Diagnosis of the Joint Coils From Railway Electric Traction

The paper aims to present of railway electric traction power supply system from Romania and aspects regarding the monitoring and diagnosis of some structural elements from the return circuit, respectively of the joint coil. Also propose monitoring and diagnosis of the joint coils from electric traction allows to monitor: the currents through its joint coil; contact terminal temperatures; connection ropes temperature; its case and environment temperature. By analyzing the values of those parameters, it is possible to diagnose the technical condition of the joint coil. Using a monitoring device, of joint coil was supervision in the laboratory to evaluate parameters in various condition.
