Structure Design and Stability Analysis of Subsea Control Module Running Tool

In view of the problem that underwater equipment such as subsea control module can be installed on subsea production facility smoothly and reliably, a special subsea control module running tool is designed. Based on the structural characteristics of domestic SCM, the locking device, buffer device, lifting device and guide device are designed, and the key components of the device are analyzed by finite element method. The deployment model was established, and the dynamics of the stability of SCM along with MRT and MRT alone was analyzed by Morision equation. The results show that for the marine environment of 1400m water depth, the subsea control module running tool can meet the design requirements and strength requirements of subsea running process and the horizontal displacement rule of the system during the lifting process was determined. The design of subsea control module running tool has reference value for engineering design, which is of great significance to the research on the stability of module running tool in complex seafloor environment.
