A DSP Based Modeling and Digital Control of Single Phase Quasi-Z-Source Inverter

This paper presents a modeling method that models the quasi-Z-network with three different states instead of two. A new model is developed which could be exclusively decided by the input DC voltage and the AC load condition. This model is then used to design a discrete time domain version of integral state feedback controller that could extend the control validity of quasi-Z-network over a large range of input DC voltage and AC load. Experimental results are provided to show the feasibility of above modeling method and controller design. The feature of control validity is left for future investigation. Discrete modeling and digital controller design of H-bridge inverter are investigated. Programming method to compensate delay of PWM module of F28335 DSP and its successful operation will be illustrated using hardware prototype.
