Content-Agnostic Web Browsing Quality Assessment

Web browsing is one of many people's everyday activities, not only for doing business, but also for leisure purposes. From the provider's point of view it is necessary to know how the service is perceived by the end users and what factors really influence quality. The problem is how to find a relation between objectively measured network performance parameters and the quality perceived by customers. The second problem is how to choose the content and design the web page which will be tested. The authors propose a method of web browsing quality assessment, which is not sensitive to the content and web page design. This makes the method more universal.
