Leaky and guided wave asymptotics in acoustics of fluid with an immersed elastic plate

The paper deals with an analytically based computer simulation of wave fields generated by a monopole source in an acoustic fluid containing an elastic plate. The explicit integral representations for generated and scattered wave fields have been derived using the Fourier transform technique. In the far-field, the body and guided waves are described by the asymptotic representations obtained from those integrals using the stationary phase method and residual technique. The asymptotics in the case of a complex pole and a stationary point approaching is presented and discussed for 2D diffraction problem. The present paper gives numerical results based on the integral and asymptotic representations at different parameters.
