Interdisciplinary Curriculum Approach as a University Component for Large-scale Education Projects

In this study, interdisciplinary curriculum approach is considered. Dependency Structure Matrix & problem-based discipline integration on the `need-to-know' basis have been identified as potential tools to design a curriculum. We believe that there is a potential of this approach for education in general and for economic education, in particular, despite difficulties of introduction according to the existing standards at the Russian universities and the methodological saved-up base. The integrated structure of the curriculum can become a university component for large-scale educational projects.
