Large-Scale Magnetic Field Analysis Using Supercomputer $K$

We analyze the distant magnetic field and the eddy current loss of a wireless power transfer system for electric vehicles by the 3-D parallel finite element method based on the domain decomposition method using the supercomputer K in Japan. In this paper, the influence of number of elements on the elapsed time, the analysis accuracy and the performance of parallel computation are clarified.
