A Proposition of a Decision Support System for Staff Scheduling in the Road Transportation of Crude Oil Sector

The human resources' scheduling is one of the problems widely studied in the literature. This wealth is explained by the diversification of objectives and constraints from one case to another. In this context, we focus on the case of the scheduling of the staff assuring the transport of crude oil by tanker. This work aims to determine the needs and expectations of the decision-makers as well as the specific objectives and constraints of the assignment using the semi-directive interviews. The results of this survey will be used to propose mathematical model that meets the expectations and objectives of the decision makers and that takes into account the specific constraints relating to the subject matter of the study.
