Determination of Eddy Currents Losses in Collector-V-Type Rotor's Permanent Magnets

Eddy currents losses in collector-V-type rotor's permanent magnets of mast's emergency dynamic braking synchronous motor with the permanent magnets excitation and fractional slot concentrated winding on stator are examined and determinated. The effect of the stator slot opening value to eddy currents losses in magnets is analyzed.
