Use of the Fuzzi Inference System for Evaluation of the Cable Lines Insulation State

The article deals with the evaluation of the cable lines insulation state of various electrical networks. It is shown that the isolation state is influenced by the large number of factors, some of which are indeterminate and can not be expressed in the quantitative form. Modeling the impact of different types of load on the insulation of cable lines is difficult to formalize, since there is a variety of these loads and it is quite difficult to take into account the impact of various external factors. Solving such problems, the use of the fuzzy logic apparatus, which allows more fully to take into account all the mechanisms acting on the insulation of loads and external conditions, is very effective. It was proposed to use the fuzzy inference system to assess the state of isolation, which ensures processing of both quantitative and qualitative information, that allows obtaining more valid results, in comparison with the use of only quantitative information.
