Development and Research of Transport Speed Models Using the Methods of Geo-Statistical Data Analysis

The article studies geostatistical methods for estimating individual transport speeds in a populated area. The authors proposed spatial models of velocities, namely the model of geographically-weighted regression and kriging interpolation. Optimal parameters of the models were chosen and a comparison of the proposed methods was made. The study was carried out on the data of road users in Novosibirsk, Russia.
