Improvement of the Monitoring Systems of Fiber Optical Communication Lines

The paper studies the issues of construction and improvement of monitoring systems for fiber optical communication lines. The experimental findings of the bend effect of optical fibers on traces obtained by the Brillouin reflectometer are given. The analysis of information leakage methods in optical fibers is reported as well. The work was performed with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation within the scope of the base part of a State Assignment within the sphere of scientific activity (Project No. 8.9334.2017/8.9).
