Design and Optimization of Silicon Nitride Based 1×8 Y-Branch Splitter

We present the design and simulation of 1×8 Y-branch optical splitter based on silicon nitride waveguide platform. The simulations were performed for operating wavelength of λ = 850nm applying RSoft photonics tool. The designed optical splitter was optimized according to optical properties and length, and the simulated results show strong improvement of performance parameters.
