GaP Nanocones for SERS Detection in Lab-on-a-Chip

In this paper, we present original concept of in-situ monitoring of Rhodamine 6G, on special GaP-based nanostructures implemented into the lab-on-a-chip (LOC). GaP nanostructure consists of three dimensional (3D) nanocones which were decorated with Ag nanoparticles. The LOC structure was prepared using soft lithography by imprinting of master into the liquid polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). GaP substrate with Ag decorated GaP nanocones was attached in the LOC chamber. In-situ Micro-Raman measurements were performed for aqueous solution of Rhodamine 6G at concentration of 10-

M which slowly flowed through the LOC device and for the first time, the in-situ enhanced Raman signal of Rhodamine 6G was observed using Ag decorated GaP nanocones.
