Next-Generation Switching System Based on $8\times 8$ Self-Tuning Optical Cell

In this work the 8×8 - and 64×64 next generation switching systems are presented for the first time. These systems are built on the new type 1×8 displacement system. It is very important that these systems are self-adjusting and they are functioning without external control system. The comparison of the parameters of the presented switching system with the parameters of the well-known ones are carried out and presented here. It is shown that the complexity of the presented schemes is much lower and the reliability is higher than the analogous parameters for the schemes previously described in the scientific literature.
