A High-Voltage Thyristor Switch for the Power Transformer Testing for a Sustainability for Short-Circuit Currents

The expediency of using a high-voltage thyristor switch on fully controlled power semiconductor devices for the practical implementation of the technology for the safe conduct of electrodynamic tests of power transformers is substantiated. The circuit of protection against overvoltages of the tested power transformer and high-voltage thyristor switch is considered at an emergency interruption of short-circuit current. An example of the power circuit of a high-voltage thyristor switch on lockable thyristors with an integrated control device is presented.
