Abstract:

In this article is considered results of the experimental and theoretical analysis of the main characteristics of reference oscillators with a working frequency of 9,8 GHz executed on monolithic integrated circuits of amplifiers. The main attention is paid to the analysis of phase noise, both amplifiers, and oscillators. Oscillators according to the scheme with an external feed-back on chips of HMC3653 and TGA2567 are considered. The modeling showed that ensuring coincidence of results of calculation to results of an experiment requires introduction to model of the amplifier of padding sources of noise. It is shown that at the loaded good quality of a resonator equal 5000 it is possible to reach the level of phase noise no more than-123 dB / Hz at 10 kHz frequency offset for the oscillator executed on MMIC HMC3653.
