Realization of Fiber Optic Gyro Modulation and Demodulation Control System Based on FPGA

Based on Altera company's Cyclone II series EP2C8Q208C8 chip, the circuit board and control algorithm program is designed to achieve a complete modulation and demodulation control system. The system can output triangular wave and the triangular wave can be used to modulate the original signal. Also the system can demodulate the modulated input signal. Besides, the system is controlled by PID according to the difference between the actual demodulation signal and the ideal signal. What's more, this paper also discusses how to use the incremental PID algorithm to realize the locking of the resonant frequency.
