Application of Multi-Agent System for Calculation of Reliability Indexes of Pacs for Digital Substation

Nowadays the idea of digital substation development based on IEC 61850 is widespread all over the world. The transformation from traditional substation to digital is conditioned by possibility of application of Local Area Network (LAN) for transfer sampled values of current and voltage. Developing of digital substation and putting it into operation requires technical and economic analysis of different architectures of protection automation control system (PACS).
