Performance Evaluation of Multi-Beam Massive MIMO with Measured 4 by 4 Beam Patterns

Multi-beam massive MIMO transmission that eliminates channel state information (CSI) estimation by using analog multi-beam and constant modules algorithm (CMA) in the digital part has been proposed. In the previous studies, the proposed system was evaluated using a linear array with ideal orthogonal beams. In this paper, the performance of multi-beam massive MIMO using measured 4 by 4 beam patterns in the planar array is presented.
