Flashover Detection Through Camera Rover (Fodcr) In 420Kv GIS

SF6 electrical circuit breaker is a device where a current is operating with SF6 or Sulphur Hexafluoride being carried on its contacts. It breaks off the power when there's an excessive electricity supply that exceeds the allowed voltage to prevent circuit overload. The level of electro-negativity in the circuit breaker is high thus having similar absorption power for free electrons. Immediately after colliding with the molecule of SF6 gas, free electron absorption takes place and the electron is then converted into a negative ion - that weighs a lot more than a free electron. This is the reason why the charged particle mobility which is solely responsible for current conduction through SF6 gas - needs only a minimal amount of SF6 gas compared to when other gases are used for this purpose. During an arc fault light and heat is produced it is discharge that results from a low impedance through the low insulating medium (SF6) to ground. the temperature reaches at immensely high limit. the immense thermal energy causes all material to get burnt and leaves spot on it. the spot comprises of carbon material, which on time when not cleaned or removed from any conductor or insulating surface can lead to the degradation and decomposition of that specific material the acquired spot usually not ranges with our naked eyes if the material(duct) is of long length (3/5/7/11/15).In this paper, we are trying to overcome this problem by making a working prototype model.
