Modal Properties of a Varied High Indexed Large Core 4-Mode Photonic Crystal Fiber

A varied high indexed, large core 4-mode photonic crystal fiber is proposed. Consequences of variation in the refractive index of the materials used in the rings have been analyzed through the far field distribution and phase of each mode. The influence of different, air hole diameters and distances between the holes of the fiber is studied.
