Li, and the ability to distinguish between neutron and gamma events through pulse shape discrimination (PSD). We have investigate the thermal variance of Cs
₂
LiLa(Br,Cl)

:Ce (CLLBC), an elpasolite that exhibits better gamma-ray energy resolution and higher density than Cs
₂
LiYCl
₆
:Ce (CLYC), which is currently the most well-known elpasolite scintillator. By collecting digitized waveforms, we examine the thermal variation in CLLBC response to neutrons, gamma-rays, and alpha-particles from internal background.
