A Novel Modern City Public Art Design Method Based on Immune Genetic Algorithm

Public art design is of great importance for modern city development, and it has been paid more and more attention by researchers. Public art is belonged to one of the most important parts of the urban landscape system. The overall design of public art must consider the level of urban landscape design. In fact, in most cases, the planning and design of public art refers to a subproject or special planning and design of the urban landscape planning and design. Particularly, influencing factors for public art design of modern city are made up of three parts: 1) Natural factors, 2) Artificial factors, and 3) Peripheral environment. In particular, the main innovation of this paper is how to optimize the modern city public art design method, and we introduce the immune genetic algorithm to solve it. Then, we provide some examples of public art design according to our proposed design method. Afterwards, we illustrate some suggestions for public art design of modern city, which can promote public art development for modern city. Finally, the whole paper is concluded.
