Abstract:

Metallic nanoarcs (bent nanorods) fill the transition space between straight nanorod antenna and split-ring resonators. Their localized surface plasmon (LSP) resonances were systematically investigated. The coupling between plasmon modes in nanoarcs was strategically used to enhance optical non-linearity and chiroptical effects.
