Application Layer Protocol for the PREDICON Weather Station

This paper deals with proprietary application layer protocol for the weather station communication purposes. Proposed protocol was developed to assure communication between data collecting servers and weather stations network for a robust and complex short-time prediction system of the power output from photovoltaic panels. Some application specific data will be explained and complete list of protocol elements will be shown.
