Forevacuum Plasma Source of a Ribbon Electron Beam for Beam Plasma Generation

The paper presents a modified forevacuum plasma source which allows the generation of a weakly divergent ribbon electron beam with a cross-section of 100×4 mm
²
at a pressure of 10-20 Pa. Also presented are the parameters of the electron beam and the conditions of its transport which provide the most uniform beam plasma distribution.
