Secure Authentication Scheme for Internet of Things in Cloud

Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of all devices that can be accessed through the internet. IoT devices can be remotely accessed and controlled using existing network infrastructure, thus allowing a direct integration of computing systems with the physical objects. However, due to the unique characteristics of resource constraints, in IoT, it always resorts to store data in cloud, which has brought about a series of security issues such as Authentication, Confidentiality and Integrity. Previous schemes do not scale well with the large number of IoT devices. To address these issues, in this paper, we propose a secure authentication scheme for IoT in the cloud. In our scheme, we use Chebyshev chaotic maps for authentication and elliptic curve cryptography for confidentiality and integrity. The proposed scheme achieve the security properties such as authentication, confidentiality and integrity in security analysis and achieve the efficiency in performance analysis.
