Behavioral Analysis of a DC/DC Single-Switch High Step-up

In this paper, the analytical behavior for all modes of operation of a DC/DC single-switch high step-up Reduced Redundant Power Processing (R2P2) I-IIA Buck-Boost/Boost converter is investigated. The analysis is very important in order to define correctly the design specifications of the converter for a given application. Experimental results validate the theoretical analysis in all operational modes. Moreover, a photovoltaic application is considered and the efficiency of the converter is evaluated.
