N2O Gas Detection Away from 93 m Using THz Time-Domain Spectroscopy

We have successfully detected N
₂
O gas using a long-path THz pulse transmission system. The N
₂
O gas is located at 93m away with the atmosphere pressure from the transmitted chip. As the amount of N
₂
O increases the pulse amplitude decreases and the pulse delay increases more. Also, the depth of the resonance in the spectrum gradually increases.
