Construction of Shape Recognition and Retrieval Algorithm in DIP

In this paper our idea is developed algorithm based on image retrieval technique for shape recognition and retrieval. As we know that shape can convey significant information of any object or image so if we retrieve shapes we can used it for various application of image processing. In our paper we have used algorithm modified over CBIR For shape retrieval and also to provide ranking on the basis of similarity index matrix. MATLAB is mathematical computing environment over which different shapes in different format are tested along with removal of distortion which makes difficult to retrieve shape. In order to retrieve and recognize shape we have to go through two major concerns 1) solving for correspondence between two points 2) Calculation of matching point between query and result. distortion in an image is lead into different types like geometrical, occlusion, difference in shape resolution. Experimental results are taken over shapes are also shown in the paper with detail performance analysis.
