AT-NPC 3-Level Inverter-Fed Induction Motor Vector Control With Neutral Point Voltage Control

In recent years, studies and developments on 3-level inverters have been conducted for the purpose of increasing the capacity of the motor drive system and reducing the harmonic current. In this research, we introduce a control method to keep the neutral point voltage of the smoothing capacitor, and compare and discuss the simulation results and experiment results when the induction motor is vector controlled by the 3-level inverter.
