DC Bus Voltage Stabilization for Cascaded Power Converter by Integrating an Extra Port into Load Side PSFB

It is well known that the tight regulation of load converter might cause voltage oscillation in DC bus of cascaded power converter system. By sharing the magnetic core of the phase shift full bridge (PSFB), an isolated extra port is proposed to integrate into the PSFB in this paper, which is employed to stabilize the output voltage of PSFB front end DC power source through proper control. Modeling scheme and control strategy are presented. The simulation results demonstrate the validation of the proposed method.
