Inverter Drive of Dynamometers forAutomotive Evaluation System

We delivered the dynamometer in 1920 first in Japan and since then has continued development of the dynamometer for 97 years. The purpose of the dynamometer system as testing equipment for automobiles is to reproduce the operating conditions of the components used in the automobile in the indoor testing condition. More realistic environment representing the actual operating conditions becomes necessary recently. We responded to such need with the system of improved performance and functionality. In this paper, increased capacity, improved current response, and higher accuracy of current control are explained.
