Analysis of disturbance time in UPS operation

The article presents the results of tests of UPSs regarding switching time of the power source. In this way, an attempt was made to answer the question whether the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) actually provides continuous power supply, or is there a minimal break in the power supply, e.g., “invisible” for the receiver? In the summary, the functional features of an ideal UPS are proposed, as well as an ideal off-line and on-line UPS.
