Synthesis of Feed-Back System of Optimal Control for Numerical Model of Induction Heating Process of Steel Cylindrical Billets

The paper presents the results of synthesis of the optimal control algorithm for the process of batch induction heating of a steel cylindrical billet in a system with feedback by temperature measured at one of the points within the volume of the billet. As a criterion of optimality, the weighted sum of the integral quadratic errors of the approximation of the temperature field to a required distribution and the energy costs for the implementation of the control process is used. The results of optimal control by 2D numerical model of induction heating process are represented taking into account the error of measurements.
