Increasing Flexibility of Automated Hopper Loaders

The article considers the application of rotor inertia vibration motors with a wide range of adjustable parameters of the operating body oscillations in automated hopper loaders. The authors conducted the analysis of existing design solutions for the problem of control over oscillatory process parameters in hopper loaders. They provide theoretical justification for the rotor inertia vibration motor application in flexible industrial systems to improve the flexibility and operation efficiency of automated hopper loaders. Further, the authors describe the experimental research of the developed designs for such hopper loaders with rotor inertia vibration motors. The research results are provided in comparison with the existing design options. The optimal parameters and methods for the control over the designed hopper loaders have been found out. They help to substantially improve the system flexibility, expand technological opportunities of hopper loaders and obtain a significant technical&economic effect in the area of flexible automated production.
