A New Schemes of Joint Clock and Phase Estimation for SOQPSK-TG

As for SOQPSK-TG signals, the commonly joint clock and phase estimation algorithm is too extremely complicated. In response to this problem, this letter considers a new schemes of joint clock and phase estimation recovery based on Laurent decomposition rather than CPM model. Also, frequency pulse truncation technology is used to reduce the complexity ulteriorly. The theories analysis and simulation results manifest that the performance is close to the ideal curve for timing estimation and also behaved well for carrier phase estimation, both of low noise.
