Hydrodynamic characteristics of an OWC device for Wave Energy Conversion

This paper deals with a numerical simulation of the oscillating water column-device considering the classical linear wave theory and the potential flow. Numerical simulation has been performed by means of Matlab code based on the boundary element method, widely used for hydrodynamic applications. To do so, the device has been simulated for various geometrical parameters configurations in order to calculate the hydrodynamic coefficients for optimal tuning of the device.
