Modified FTL Approach for High Frequency EM Coupling on Cables Installed in Complex Structures

This paper addresses the modelling of high frequency EM coupling on cables installed in complex structures. It proposes a methodology based on a field to transmission line approach in which the incident EM environment in the structure is solved by PoWer Balance techniques considering the combination of a high frequency coupling model and a cable network model. The originality of the strategy lies in the fact that the application of the theorem of reciprocity enables reduction of computer resources.
