Normalized Correlation-Based Levinson Method for spectrum estimation in alpha Noise

Electromagnetic spectrum estimation in alpha noise is an important research problem in Cognitive radio and radar systems. Due to their inherent nonlinearity, the existing all kinds of fractional lower order moment methods which are suitable for the alpha stable distribution signal processing cannot be used to solve the problem of the spectrum estimation in alpha noise. Since the normalized correlation function of alpha stable distribution process exist, the linear calculation property of the normalized correlation function determined that it is suitable for solving the parameterized spectrum estimation problems in alpha noise. The proposed normalized correlation function based Levinson spectrum estimation method fully proved this point.
