Design and Analysis of Lock System of Hydraulic Turbine Lifting Device

According to the characteristics of floating tidal turbines subjected to complex loads from marine, a symmetrical rack locking system was designed. When the turbine is lowered to the power generation position, the turbine can be fixed on the carrier without any gaps. Using the Bets theory, the maximum instantaneous axial force of the turbine subjected to the action of the carrier longitudinal and pitching is obtained, and then it is concluded that the axial force acting on the turbine is time-varying and has the same period as the shaking of the carrier. Establish the dynamic equation of turbine column and solve the dynamic characteristics of the locking force of the locking system under the action of the carrier shaking. Based on the sub-modeling analysis method of ANSYS, the finite element analysis of the locking system was performed to verify the stress variation of the locking rack. The simulation results show that the designed locking system meets the conditions of use, which verifies the feasibility of this design and simulation method.
