Maximum Power Point Tracking of Photovoltaic Based on Second-Order Predictive PI Control Strategy

The system will oscillate when the traditional PI control strategy is to deal with the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of independent photovoltaic power generation. This paper uses a second-order predictive PI control strategy to optimize the problems. First, fitting the second-order transfer function of Boost's irregular model, and then using the logarithm method to obtain the PI controller parameters. Subsequently, the step response input is used to verify the output characteristics of the predicted PI controller under ideal conditions. Finally, an independent photovoltaic power generation system simulation model is set up, and the experimental results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical analysis. Based on second-order predictive PI control strategy can attenuate the oscillation in the control process and improve the anti-interference ability of the system. It is a generalization of the classical PI control strategy.
