Modeling and Optimization of Emergency Distribution in Plateau Area

Due to the special environment of emergency rescue in plateau area, plateau reaction is an inevitable influence factor. However, few of the existing literatures focus on this topic. In this paper, the Yushu earthquake in Qinghai Province is used as our example, and the traditional optimization model for emergency distribution is improved by incorporating an influence coefficient of plateau reaction. The problem is formulated as a multi-objective mixed integer programming model and an effective genetic algorithm is designed to solve it. Test results demonstrate that the proposed model can efficiently distribute emergency materials to the demand points within 72 hours after the earthquake.
