Closed-Loop Control of Network Desynchronization Based on Unscented Kalman Filter

The de synchronization control of a network with two-compartment neurons is investigated in this paper. Neurons of the network are coupled with synaptic and embedded within a resistive array with external electric field. To close the loop of desynchronizing control, a feedback variable which can characterize the synchronous states of neurons is critical. But the only measurable variable of neurons in experiments is the membrane voltage. So in this paper we first analyze synchronization properties of the network to find out the key biomaker as the feedback variable, then we reconstruct this variable from the measurable membrane voltage based on unscented kalman filter. Numerical simulations show that the proposed methods can effectively mitigate the synchronous states of neurons, and have a better performance than the open-loop control.
