Voice to Text transcription using CMU Sphinx A mobile application for healthcare organization

This project is an Offline Voice to Text transcription system for healthcare organization which can be used by counsellors and NGO's to record the conversation during surveys and convert it into text and save it. This system includes an open source application. It uses the CMUSphinx toolkit for speech recognition. The system supports multi-language recognition. The CMUSphinx toolkit utilizes acoustic model, phonetic dictionary and language model. The user will record his/her voice through the mobile application then recognition and transcription is done through CMUSphinx toolkit. The transcription file will be saved as a text file in the device memory which user can upload and retrieve data from the database server through the application.
