Design of Event Generator and Controller for Event-triggered Control of Time Delay Systems

In this paper, novel event-triggering criterion and state feedback controller are co-designed to asymptotically stabilize input-delay linear systems. A Lyapuonv-Krasovskii functional is employed to derive triggering mechanism and sufficient condition to obtain static controller gain. It is proven that the task periods (inter-event time) generated by the proposed strategy are away from zero. Comparisons to a rival method in the literature are presented to demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed scheme.
